Animal protection and rescue organizations have called for a peaceful mobilization this Saturday, January 17th, at 5:00 PM, at the Obelisk. The objective of the demonstration is to repudiate animal mistreatment and demand the effective application of Law 14.346, which sanctions acts of cruelty against animals. This was reported by Agencia Noticias Argentinas (NA). The call is made under the slogans 'Justice,' 'No to Animal Mistreatment,' and 'Law 14346,' and is promoted, among others, by the La Plata-based animal protector and rescuer Ezequiel 'Kelo,' who called to 'be the voice of the animals that cannot defend themselves.' According to information from the movement, the protest aims to highlight a serious case publicly denounced on social networks, involving RocĂo Marisabel Krakowski, a 26-year-old woman residing in the Ezeiza area. According to complaints spread by activists, the woman allegedly commercialized content of animal abuse through the Telegram application and includes videos that would show aberrant practices against dogs. Animal protection groups assure that there are elements that would allow linking one of the animals to images previously published on social networks, and they maintain that the main objective is to achieve urgent judicial intervention, the protection of the animals, and to prevent them from being exposed to violent situations again. In this context, citizens are requested to file formal complaints so that the Justice system can act.
